Another problem is that despite their trying to keep an up to date inventory count, errors in receiving, picking, or counting products still occur that can lead to discrepancies between their inventory levels. Customer dissatisfaction and stockouts or overstock problems may result from this. 

One significant issue we've identified is that despite having 1.4 million followers on their main page, Home Depot's engagement levels are not as high as expected, as their posts usually receive an average of just 500 likes and 56 comments.

By continually updating its technology infrastructure, Home Depot can ensure it effectively supports business processes and enhances overall efficiency.

Home Depot can address inventory management challenges through a comprehensive strategy. This includes improving employee training to minimize errors, adopting advanced inventory systems for automation and accuracy, conducting regular audits, and enhancing communication with customers to manage expectations and mitigate dissatisfaction due to stockouts or overstock situations.

Home Depot could also utilize anti malware software as a cyber security strategy to protect themselves from data security threats and from phishing attacks. Hunt (2020) says that email communications that appear suspicious are detected by anti-malware systems and blocked before they can reach the recipient's mailbox. If administrators determine that the messages' content is not fake, they can still approve and forward them to the intended recipients. Home Depot may improve its safeguards against phishing attempts and better safeguard its employees and system by implementing anti-malware systems with strong phishing prevention abilities and incorporating them into its whole cybersecurity strategy.
